Lincoln Film Festival
October 27-29, 2017
Lincoln Film Festival (LFF) welcomes filmmakers and film lovers from across the United States to the historic city of Lincoln, Illinois. Home to a fun part of Old Route 66 and over a dozen downtown local shops, Lincoln offers a variety of things to see outside of the festival. The Lincoln Film Festival will offer three days of screenings, an educational workshop, and open dialogue located in the newly built Lincoln Grand 8 Theater.
Lincoln Film Festival made its debut October 2016 with support from local businesses and key individuals who are passionate to see a culture of creativity flourish. Our partnerships continue to grow with various local and film organizations. We are excited at the opportunities this will bring forth in the community and the industry.
This event will be for those who enjoy film study as well as the entire family. The festival will offer tickets for individual screenings of Disney Classics, a full day pass, and a full festival pass to accommodate any schedule. It will also have a FREE Children's Animation Program Saturday morning. All day passes and festival passes are available online at a discounted rate.
Tickets will also be available for a party and showing that
will be held opening night.
This year will host a few very intriguing guest speakers that will be hosting both workshops and Q&A sessions. Among them will be: Brenda Chapman (director and story artist for several Disney films) and Kevin Lima (director and animator for several Disney films and TV shows).
